Sports Champ is an annual event organized by S.I.T. Club. This event creates an opportunity for students from various schools and courses to interact with each other in a competitive environment and foster sportsmanship. With the combination efforts of the various schools, it builds stronger relationships within the campus.

Sports Champ was indeed a great success!! Everything went smoothly. Nice weather, Great event!! =) Although there was a lot of last min decisions made on that day, but it was handled well. It was stressful to be a referee because despite so many trail runs, there are still faults and standard are not reached. But during the actual day, all referees did well. There were only a few minor faults and everything just went so smoothly. Last but not least, I really enjoy being a referee!! I would like to thanks the committees for giving mi a chance to participate in this great event!! Olala... ^_^

When seeing people being referee, I thought it is fun and easy. And I never dream of being a referee. Through Sports Champ, I was chosen to be the referee and I found out that it is not easy to be a good referee. Through this event, I learn that as a referee, we need to be fair, firm in decision and able to make decision on our own. We also need to be fast in decision making as the game carries on without stopping. It is also quite tiring and taxing for the referee as they are required to see the whole view of the game and be alert at all times. Although tired and being jeered as a referee, I found that I have done my best for this event and I have fun from this event.

Sports Champ '07! Well done! What a great way to kick start our first event!
The event was considered smooth sailing. We were also helped by the good weather!
This year we have expanded the event beyond SIT, so the competitive level had definitely gone up by a few notches. It was also a good opportunity for SIT students to interact with students from other schools.

Along the way, we learned a lot about responsibilities, time management and when to make some necessary sacrifices when needed.
We had to be more flexible as things do not always go our way. Making decisive last-minute decisions on the spot is also what we had learned from Sports Champ '07.
It was a valuable experience for some of us as it provided us with the chance to be referees, timekeepers, scorers etc.

Lastly, we had to thank everyone, from the committee, to the sub-committee, helpers, and officials from Sports & Wellness and all those who had contributed in making Sports Champ '07 a success. Thank you!

WOW! It's our first event for excos ! what i can say, very good coordinations, great team work from all of you, especially the Sports Champ committee. I believe everyone - both officials and participants enjoys it. A great day, a tough match & a successful event! Good job everyone! -- EXCO ! UH LALA!(:

Wooo!! Its The end of Sports Champ people! This is our first event as excos, I think we did an awesome job! Of course, nothing's perfect. There were ups and downs during the process, but we strived through all of them! It was fun looking at the participants enjoying themselves. They really did Play with passion, challenge their limits and won with style! Sports Champ has taught us all the spirit of sportsmanship, team work and to adapt to last minute changes. It looks like our hard work finally paid off right? A big thank you to the Sports Champ 2007/2008 Committee,Excos and the officals for all the patience and hardwork! Well done & Rest well!

Our first event, Sports Champ 07, and we have ended it with a "BANG!" Great job, ppl. It has been a great experience for us (: Sports Champ went pretty well. It was tiring. But I enjoy working with you guys. Seeing everybody putting in their effort to make Sports Champ a success. A big thanks for ppl who have helped out in the event. Thanks alot! (:

Everyone did their part to make Sports Champ a success. The success does not belong to only Sports Champ committees and all the EXCOs, but it belongs to everyone, including the helpers and the participants. Without any of you playing your important roles during the event Sports Champ will never be Sports Champ. To my Dear IC and committee, ‘THUMBS UP’ for all of u! This recognition is something nobody can take away from us. Treasure it! Remember the times we fought together. Let’s continue to work hard for the rest of our EXCOs days!!
